What Customers Say About Sapphire Radeon HD4670 512MB DDR3 Dual DVI / TVO PCI-Express Graphics Card:

I call it my tv time (as I dont care to drink the media koolaid). The fan can get a little loud when playing for extended times but thats to be expected. I still play TF2 and COH daily.

It requires no power cables to the card itself. There are aftermaket coolers which allow you to move the fan all together. Its small enough to fit in a tight case as its about the size of a sound card.

Okay, I am a 35 year old child. It plays TF2 and COH at 1900x1200 without any issues on very high detail settings. HDMI is a plus even if its not in use by me right now.

Yes my family understands. This card is small but powerful.

When this card becomes old in the world of videocards, I'll buy a 2nd and run it in Crossfire on my next rig. The lower power draw and quiet nature of this card are very good. Got this card for 83.oo and it does what I need it to do. I don't play many games, but the ones I do (Civ 4, C&C 3, Sim city 4) run great on a 42inch monitor at 1920*1080.

While it is not silent, it isn't overly loud either, and it comes with DVI to VGA, DVI to RBG, DVI to HDMI and S Video to RCA adapters all already in the box. I play call of duty with high resolution on a single monitor, and it is quite smooth and detailed. (I needed the DVI to VGA part, as the monitor only has a blue VGA receptacle on it).I do not have much experience with gaming gear, but this was pretty straight forward to install and use quickly (one glitch with the included sound processing that required me to make a change in the bios file (to re-enable onboard audio) was the only hitch). All in all, If I were making this purchase again, I would purchase the very same card from Amazon again. This worked out really well for me, and Amazon did a nice job shipping same day and delivering the next, even with super saver.Let me start with the fact that I haven't purchased a video card in 10 years, and I struggled with this item, and had a hard time deciding if it would be worth it to throw another $50 or so and get a little nicer card, but now that I have it, I am pleased with this choice for my 2 1/2 year old HP Pavilion. My digital photo's look great, the color is amazing, and it plays Flight Sim X on max everything, photo realistic and it is very good, and plenty smooth, unlike when I tried to do the same thing with the onboard video that came with the computer. Previously, the game was nearly unplayable.

Good performance for video processing and light gaming 4. 3. Very nice price point 5. Conclusion: A good value, but not for serious gamers. If you're looking for a good card for an HTPC, this is a really good choice because of its low power consumption, ability to handle HD content, and its relatively quiet fan. This is the perfect graphics card for mid level computers with a small power supply (under 400 watts) that need a graphics upgrade. The 4670 series requires no secondary six pin adaptor to power it, only the power fueled by your PCIe rail. Do not use the drivers that come on the install disk.

Quiet fan 3. No HDMI out, although you can use a DVI==>HDMI converter. Cons: 1. Great for a HTPC. Crossfire option is worthless on this card since the cost of two of these cards is more than 1 card that will easily outperform a crossfire of two HD4670s. Instead, go to ATIs web page and download their most recent drivers, as they update them monthly for better performance/bug fixes. Cannot play newer games at better than 'low' settings 2. While it is not as powerful as its big brothers (HD4850, HD4870, HD4870X2) it will serve adequately for an 'average' computer set up.

ATI consistently upgrading drivers for all their cards. No additional power connection necessary 2. If you are upgrading for the purpose of better gaming performance, you really should spend more and at a minimum get an HD4850 for just a few dollars more, even if it does mean upgrading your power supply also. Pros: 1.

This card also runs the coolest for a 4670 chipset. If your power supply is between 300-400 watts, then this cards might be the best bet for you. This is a nice card for those looking for good video performance without having to upgrade your power supply. There are far better cards for just a few bucks more, but all of those cards usually have higher power requirements.
